Quala-Tea Week 8: Feedback on our Presentation and next steps

Our feedback from our tutors and Nela about of presentation consisted of: - Positive feedback towards our idea and Nela was very open to our approach - she even suggested working closely with us for the recipes during our process up until the final presentation in week 11. - Nela didn't necessarily want to work on the Iced Chai as much as the chocolate just given more complications with production. During this weeks session we also brainstormed what there was to do next based on our feedback: What’s next? - Contact Companies to collaborate with, smaller independent businesses within wellington or larger scale companies in order to make it more of a NZ specific brand. - Sort out the recipes/recipes. We used almond milk, can we use cow's milk/soy milk etc - What other alternatives can we approach within the specifics of Iced Chai and Chocolate. - Make more of a case for bi-local and hipster sides of consumers. Quala-Tea Week 7: The Presentation

During the break we met a few times to put together and practice our presentation. In week 7 we presented our ideas to Nela: The presentation went well. We talked about our focus on expanding her brand through the Iced Chai and expanding/collaboration with the Chai Chocolate. We brought up statistics and information to prove to her as well that the target audiences of children and young families would work well to introduce a larger number of people to the taste of Chai as it's much more inviting than Chai itself. This was good as it was exactly what Nela wanted to do with her product; apply it to families and make Nela's Chai a family friendly product. We then finished the presentation by showing her our proof of concepts with the models and the actual Chai Chocolate/Iced Chai for Nela/out tutors own personal taste tests.
